Thanks for getting in touch! Yes I would really like that! Do you tend to use 'word of mouth' to spread you business? I do not like to 'badger' people I know to be honest and would rather find people who are genuinely passionate about the business and what it offers.

I hope to do 'arbonne' parties soon to help spread the word but would love to know how you do it? I also find giving out samples, catalogues and business cards is beneficial.

How long have you been doing your business and where are you based?

Welcome to the forums. Yes, you can network through the forums, blogs and articles on this site freely. That is why you do not see many articles at the moment as I want site members to use these. Ofcourse you can use it a bit for fun also.

I am actually signed up with Arbonne as a consultant, since it started last year (I was one of the first), but decided not to sell for them as I did not liked their terms. Arbonne prefers their consultants to sell face to face.

Their products seem good however and I have read many stories about the products really making a difference to problem skins.

Thanks for that, real shame though that you have not decided to see it through as a consultant. Was it just the face to face you did not want to?

But as you said we are hearing great things about the products from helping with eczema to just making people with dry skin feel better.

Glad you like the site, as it was my intent that networking could take place without restrictions. I too found a lot of sites wanting lots of members fees and then you were still restricted at some points. Ecademy for instance, I find that site a bit confusing and they restrict you. Hence that I want this site to be different and interactive.


There are a few low cost prominent advertising features on this site, but the rest is free.

Dawn, I've been a distributor with Ecoflow for 4 years now. I tend to go to a few shows during the summer months, selling my products and handing out leaflets, this usually brings me sales during the winter months from people who have needed a bit of time to think about it. I also find people who bought at the shows recommend me to their friends and I get a few sales that way. I have my website which people can buy from and am spreading the word about it as widely as possible.
Right in the middle of writing this I have just had a phone call from a lady who took a brochure from me at the Highland Show in June wanting to order a product from me!! Like I said, some people need a bit of time to think about it!
I don't believe in 'badgering' people I know either, they know what I do and if they want something they can ask me for it.

Hi Agnes, that all sounds great! I think your're right even though the distributor might be passionate about the products I think many people do take their time deciding. It's amazing what networking can do and people reccomending you. I strongly feel that you can be passionate about your business and products without being too 'salesy' which I hate!!

I have only been doing arbonne for three months so am very much learning which I am enjoying. Can I ask do you do the business part or full time? And is it regarded as a network marketing company?

Hi Dawn, yes Ecoflow is a network marketing company. I would love to be able to do it full time but since I am on my own that would be a huge step to take. I work full time and do this in my spare time.
