Now, I'm really not into football at all, but this match is different- our local team have made it to the Scottish Cup Final for the first time ever! There is great excitement in the town with many businesses decked out with flags, balloons, banners and posters.

We beat Aberdeen 4-3 in the semi-finals and now we face Glasgow Rangers who were beaten by Aberdeen last night. We are by far the underdogs, but we live in hope!!

Well, I know we didn't win, but I think our team did themselves proud. To come back from 2-0 down do a side like Rangers and draw level again was excellent - just a shame they got another goal after that.

Ah well, here's to next year!
