Sarah has been running Bravissimo since she launched the business in 1995 following her own frustrating attempts to buy lingerie when her bra size increased when she was pregnant.
Initially a mail order service, Sarah has grown the business to the company it is today. The product range has developed to include swimwear, lingerie, tailored clothing with a unique size range and nightwear and she has put together a management team and infastructure to support the fast growth of the company.
It is now a substantial mail order business and boasts 20 High street stores. The company employs over 600 people and had a turnover of £27 million last year.
Although Sarah's role has changed over the pst 13 years she has continued to provide the vision and direction for the company. She was the finalist in 2005 in the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year and has been ranked in the top 100 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For in the last 2 years.
